It goes without saying that this annual tradition has changed in various ways over these hundred years. The exhibition offers the visitor a unique perspective by comparing the changes before and during WW2 to those that the Yser Pilgrimage underwent after 1945. Twice in its history, the Yser Pilgrimage witnessed major growth followed by a decline. Come and find out how exactly this came about on the first floor of the museum!
